German and Pak ties are strengthening from Defence sector to social and cultural

Islamabad: 9 Septtember 2021: The U.S., Pakistani, and German navies conducted a tri-lateral passing exercise in the Arabian Sea, to strengthen cooperation and advance a common vision to ensure peace and stability.  

U.S. Consul General Mark Stroh boarded the USS Shiloh along with Pakistan Rear Admiral Jawad Ahmed, Commander, Pakistan Navy Western Command, based in Gwadar, and U.S. Rear Admiral Will Pennington, Commanding Officer of the Strike Group, for the helicopter cross-deck landing portion of the event. 

?I was proud to witness the naval exercise today that included our close partners Pakistan and Germany,? said U.S. Consul General Mark Stroh.  ?The United States and Pakistan have collaborated together for decades to promote a peaceful, stable, and prosperous South Asia. 

Our enduring military-to-military ties, demonstrated by today?s successful naval exercise, strengthen the U.S.-Pakistan relationship and support our peoples? prosperity and security.? The ties of Pak Germany are not limited to defence but in other areas they are working tremendously ; few months back Pakistani minister Fawad Chodhry and German officials discussed to icrease ties on social and cultural dimension. 



The minister also apprised the ambassador of the government?s initiative to establish Media Technology University and said that Germany?s cooperation would be welcomed i establishing state of the art modern education institution comprising four schools.

Fawad emphasised the need to collaborate with gaming and animation companies of Germany. Bernhard Stephan Schlagheck appreciated the proposal of joint ventures in the areas of film and drama productions and said it would help to project beauty of the area besides promoting tourism. He also showed his keen interest to advance cooperation in the area of gaming.
