No discussions about forming the next government., khalid Maqbool

Karachi: 11 February 2024: After meeting with the PML-N, MQM-Pakistan Convener Khalid Maqbool stated that there were no discussions about forming the next government. He emphasized the challenging situation created by the elections and urged all parties to play a role in guiding the country out of the crisis.
Maqbool stressed the importance of democracy's stability and clarified that no talks have occurred regarding government formation. Maqbool also mentioned that it is not confirmed whether the MQM will have any role in the government.
These statements followed a PML-N statement indicating a "principle agreement" to work together in the upcoming government. The statement mentioned collaboration for the country's and the public's interest, with basic points agreed upon by both parties.
