ISLAMABAD: The Nadra head informs the Senate that by paying bribes, illegal immigrants are able to join the native family trees.

During his first appearance before the Senate Standing Committee on Interior, Lt. Gen. Munir Afsar stated that illegal immigrants also succeed in joining native family trees by paying off the family members.
Sarfraz Bugti, the acting interior minister, Aftab Akbar Durrani, Special Interior Secretary Nadeem Mehboob, DG Passport, and Senator Mohsin Aziz served as the committee's chairs.

DG Passport and Immigration Mustafa Jamal Kazi, Additional Director General of Pakistan Coastal Guard, Senators Saifullah Abro, Faisal Saleem Rehman, Shahadat Awan, Faisal Ali Subzwari, Fawzia Arshad, Dilawar Khan, Danesh Kumar, Dost Muhammad Khan, Bahramand Khan Tangi, Sherry Rehman and Kamil Ali Agha.
