Hyderabad: 10 May 2024: With countries around the world needing more bullets and bombs, India's army is trying to use less from other places. This is happening as tensions get worse in different parts of the world, like Europe, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific. India wants to be more self-sufficient instead of relying on imports for its bullets and other military supplies.
In places like Russia and Ukraine where there's fighting, there's not enough bullets to go around. Ukraine's military has said they don't have enough bullets because the U.S. and NATO, big military groups, couldn't give them what they needed.
This lack of bullets even forced Ukraine to leave a town called Avdiivka. This shows how serious it can be when a country runs out of bullets in the middle of a fight. As a result, Russia attacked more as Ukraine struggled to find enough bullets to defend itself.
