Ghaza: 24 October 2023: On October 7, Hamas initiated a surprise attack resulting in the loss of 1,400 Israeli lives and the capture of 222 hostages.
The ongoing Israeli retaliatory strikes have led to the tragic loss of at least 5,791 Palestinian lives, including 2,360 children, with over 14,000 individuals sustaining injuries.
Israel has imposed a complete blockade on the Gaza Strip, depriving 2.3 million people of essential resources such as food, water, and fuel, in a declared effort to 'annihilate' Hamas.
In a gesture of humanitarian concern, Hamas has released four hostages.
The United Nations agency warns that it will be compelled to cease operations in Gaza if fuel deliveries are not received within the next 24 hours.
