KARACHI: 03.10.2025: In Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal, a video showing an assistant, Safia Naz, abusing a mentally disabled teenager at an Autism Care and Rehabilitation Organization went viral.
Following public outrage, she was immediately dismissed from her job.
According to SHO Naeem Rajput, a case has been registered against Safia Naz, and investigation is ongoing. The police are also in contact with the victim’s family to uncover the full details.
