COLOMBO: 09.10.2025: Australia defeated Pakistan by 107 runs in the ICC Women’s World Cup after a remarkable comeback led by Beth Mooney’s century.
Pakistan, chasing 222, were bowled out for just 114 in 36.3 overs. Sidra Ameen was the top scorer with 35, while only three other batters managed to reach double figures.
Earlier, Australia were struggling at 76/7, but Beth Mooney’s brilliant century rescued the team, helping them post a competitive 221.
Pakistan had won the toss and opted to bowl first against the defending champions.
